The old village of Portlethen was very friendly.
The old village of Portlethen was very friendly. It is out of the way so you’ll need a car or money for taxis. The rooms at “the Neuk” come with a continental breakfast, which suited us perfectly. The food at “The Neuk” was different and very tasty, highly recommended! Portlethen is very near Stonehaven and Aberdeen in the car, perfect for exploring. Also went to Peterhead Prison Museum. Even though it was cold and we the only people on the premises and on the set of headphones tour, it was very informative and intriguing. I highly recommend this too. Thank you Gerry and May at “The Neuk” we enjoyed the holiday and your hospitality and the yummy food. We will return for sure!KatieUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
We were only there for two days but it is a beautiful part...
We were only there for two days but it is a beautiful part of the world and very close to other cities of interest so you can combine cultural trips with the relaxing countryside and being close to the sea is always a bonus.
