The apartment was very well equipped , the staff very helpful and the location was excellent.

United KingdomThe location is superb right on the shores of Windermere and a short distance from Ambleside centre. There is a dedicated car parking space for the apartment so you can avoid the costly parking charges. The apartment itself is a good size and has all you need for your stay. The sky tv (with movies and sports) is an added bonus. The apartments are spotlessly clean and very comfortable base for a trip in the Lake District. The small swimming pool with jacuzzi is a fantastic facility that always keeps our kids happy and allows us to relax after a long day. There is also a sauna and laundry facilities. The staff in reception are very accommodating and provide a fantastic service helping out with anything needed. This year was our third time at the Quaysiders club and we plan on booking soon for next year so they must be doing something right.

Host Info
The staff (Philip, Sandra, Graham, Kate and Debbie) have all been employed at Quaysiders for a long time and they pride themselves on keeping the apartments and hotel rooms as nice as they can. Cleanliness is our number 1 priority.
I have been the General Manager at Quaysiders club for 4 years having taken over from my father who had been here for 30 years. We pride ourselves on our cleanliness and we expect the best service from our cleaning staff which I might add that is what we get as they are all excellent. We spend a lot of money each year replacing furniture so nothing gets old or shabby and a lot of pride goes into working at Quaysiders.
The property is 30 yards over the road from Lake Windermere at Waterhead which is a small suburb of Ambleside. Lakes Windermere Cruises are just 100 yards from the resort.
