“good location for the town, reasonably close to the local stations and good access to the trans-pennine trail and other local walks. The hotel itself is pleasant and the rooms have just been refurbished to a really good standard. Bathroom and shower very good. Choice of dining - pub-grub in the pub, good quality Indian food in the restaurant on the first floor. Portions are very generous and the selection of drinks and real ales is superb! The staff were all helpful and friendly. On the whole it’s a really good find!”
