Shame no breakfast 🍳 but due to Covid couldn’t be helped.location pretty local.. lovely cottage 😀with fantastic views..

Amazing location, easy access to Grasmere and nearby shops/walks. Very beautiful view out the windows. Very nice room and bathroom, with great water pressure. Philip is very friendly, definitely will return in the future

We really enjoyed the stay. Hosts were amazing location is amazing the cottage itself is amazing! The highlight was the fireplace we could use in the evenings! Thank you again!

The owner was super friendly and helpful in giving advice and answering questions. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean.

Thoughtful and helpful owner. Very clean room. High quality bedsheets. Top quality mattress guarantes great rest and sleep. Amazing view from the window.

Great location for walking, friendly owners, peace and quiet

This was a wonderful stay, 3 friends who were doing the Bob Graham Round walk stayed on 5th Sept. We turned up wet and had a lovely welcome from Philip and Sam. The property exceeded our expectations and was welcoming, clean and in a great location on Dunmail Raise for an ascent of steel fell the next morning. We had really lovely and useful discusions in the evening about the surrounding area and its mountains, they have a wealth of knowledge and I would thoroughly recommend this place.

Simple, clean. Extremely helpful despite the problems of Covid lockdown, and run by a true gentleman. We got up in the morning to find our damp boots had been stuffed with newspaper and set to dry! Just when I thought that couldn't be topped, we then got advice on our planned route and the effects of the weather which turned out to be spot on.

The owners were very friendly. They had 2 lovely dogs. The cottage was in a beautiful location just by the main road surrounded by mountains between Windermere and Keswick.

Ideal location for good walks without the need of taking the car, plenty of food options nearby only a short drive away. Pet friendly property without extra charge. Rooms are clean and kept to a high standard, it exceeded our expectations and would recommend for a romantic getaway. We enjoyed the views from the room and the recently renovated bathroom was a nice touch. I would stay there again.
