Lovely manor house, great staff, good breakfast and bar.

The food was AMAZING! We only dined here the last night of our stay but I wished we had been able to more often. The staff was the epitome of gracious and helpful-a beautiful old manor with modern updates.

My two daughters and I stayed in one of the family rooms for two nights during a visit to the Lake District and we all were very impressed with Ravenstone Manor. The food was amazing, the location near hiking trails was perfect and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Location and views were stunning. Staff were wonderful very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious.

Fantastic building & general location! Right on the main road out of Keswick near the shore of Bassenthwaite Lake, the building is beautiful; an old hunting lodge according to the receptionist I spoke to. The check-in was great with the staff member genuinely interested in why I was there & what I'd be seeing. Great to see this kind of personal touch! The room was nice, all the facilities were as you'd expect & the interior was just as interesting as the outside. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

It’s position overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake, it’s history and the comfortable accommodation with excellent food.

Rooms lovely and clean, great location, food really good, staff were great and friendly

we liked the friendly staff and the comfortable room , food was lovely and ate their most nights .views were breathtaking from room and garden area . loved the modern decor in bar and lounge area

Exceptionally clean. Friendly staff and very helpful. Hospitable. Breakfast was excellent and other meals were excellent too (tasted really good and presentation of food was appealing). Good for single traveller.

The views , the room , the staff & food were amazing 👍

Hi Might book in June. We have a spaniel & would do walks. A concern is that dogp will get very mucky. Can we clean her outside the room at the hotel?Hi there, Dogs are very welcome at our hotel and there are plenty of walks available nearby. We have a basin for dogs just outside the entrance with always warm water available, as well as, clean dog towels at the entrance, so nothing to worry about.Answered on February 8, 2021

What time is the restaurant open in the evening from and to? If we booked a room would we need to book a table in the restaurant when we are not sure of our time of arrival?Hi there, We serve food all day but our dinner menu starts at 6pm with last orders being around 9pm. You can book your table in advance if you wish, however, you can always book once you arrive as we always have space for our residents.Answered on October 3, 2020
