We came and had dinner and Drinks all was lovely. The room was also nice and quite. We went and had breakfast aswell also very nice. When we went to pay there was another room with the same surname as ours so there was a mixup with the Bill. this was all sorted in 5mins and they even asked if we wanted the Service charge taken off. We still paid this as this was a small issue which was sorted straight away. Lovely helpful staff :) when i got hoe they called and said they had overcharged us and refunded us the money. This was paid in the next day :)

I booked as a suprise for my boyfriend for his birthday, on booking I requested for prosseco for the room and a birthday dessert plate: on arrival the room was ready early, and everything I requested was there in the room. Beautiful room, great staff throughout the hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was exceptional and the continental breakfast was perfect, we loved how the breakfast buffet was laid out in the old kitchen with the original fire going!! Perfect little hotel for a mini break, will be recommended to friends and family and Will Definalty be back for another stay! Xx

This beautifully restored historic fifteen century Farmhouse Hotel is situated within four acres of garden with undulating views of the Hertfordshire countryside. The main house boasts five tastefully restored bedrooms, stables containing seven contemporary styled rooms and the recently reconstructed barns house fifteen stunning boutique bedrooms. We do have family friendly bedrooms, some of which have a double sofa bed or can accommodate a single pull out bed - both of which are subject to availability and an additional cost. Please contact us for more information. All bedrooms are individually styled with retained classic features, include free Wi-Fi, ensuite bathrooms and luxury tea & coffee facilities. We have many different rooms included in the room types, if you have seen a specific room you like, please get in touch and we can check a specific rooms availability. Whilst we are dog friendly hotel, please note dogs are only permitted in some of our gorgeous bedrooms. Please call us to find out more. Should you wish to dine with your dog, or have them join you for Breakfast, dogs are welcome in The Bar at The Farmhouse or on our stunning terrace. Please mention at the time of booking so we can ensure we can accommodate you, your guest/s and four-legged friend.
