RetreatOnThe500 is situated in a rural location, 5 minutes drive from John o'Groats and Gills ferry. It overlooks farm fields, with wide open rural and sea views with Orkney beyond. The room is spacious with a super king size plus a single bed. Continental or cooked breakfast is served.
Tommy and Lilias are lovely hosts with considerable experience in running a friendly, and welcoming bed and breakfast. Tommy enjoys looking after sheep and Lilias, loves interior design and crafts which you will see through out their home.
On the North Coast 500’s A836, Gills ferry terminal (for Orkney) is 1 mile away, with John o'Groats ferry terminal is 3 miles away for summer day trips to Orkney. There are regular bus services to the above ferries as well as Wick and Thurso, with train stations in both and an airport in Wick.
