The location was great but the hotel itself and the employees were fantastic. The place was immaculate and in a covid world. Made me me safe. The staff gave me lots of travel tips and the waiter at breakfast was super nice and accommodating. Highly recommend and will tell me friends!

Perfect location on seafront. Saw the starling murmuration from bedroom window! Very clean throughout the whole hotel. Comfortable beds and v good en-suite facilities. Excellent off street parking at the rear. Fantastic breakfast and Althea staff were both friendly and very helpful

  • Hi do you have adapted rooms?

    So sorry but we don't. We are a Grade 2 listed building whic unfortunately limits what adaptions we can make to the building.

  • Is car parking on hotel grounds and for hotel customers only, please?

    We have our own car park located directly behind the hotel for guest use only. When that is full there is free on street parking available to the front and rear of the hotel.

  • Hi. Can you confirm that the hotel has safe storage for bicycles. We plan to arrive with two.

    We are creating a dedicated secure bicycle shed for this summer. Currently we use our lockable garage. When are you thinking of visiting?

    Hello, I am sorry but we do not allow dogs in the Hotel unless they are assistance dogs.

  • Have you alift

    No we do not. Rooms are located over 3 floors. Help is available with luggage but guests do need to be able to use stairs.
