Our property has free Wifi and is situated on the banks of the River Teviot. The Lounge overlooks the river and on a good day you may see our local Heron and Ducks. It is an easy walk on the flat to the centre of Hawick to all shops restaurants and bars. The local Sports Centre (which can be seen in the river photograph) is only 2/3 minutes walk away, which includes a large leisure pool, toddlers pool, gym, sauna, soft play area and cafe.
I have lived in Hawick for a number of years with my family. I can be contacted by mobile should you encounter a problem.
The property is situated in a quiet residential area. Morrisons Supermarket is a 2 minute walk away. There is ample free on-street parking outside the property, with no parking limitation. The border with England and Northumberland National Park can be reached in approximately 35 minutes by car. Edinburgh is 60 minutes' drive away, or can be accessed by train from Tweedbank/Galashiels (there is also free parking). Wilton Lodge Park has a Museum in the middle, which is well worth a visit. Also take a picnic, its a lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon.
