Rose Cottage is located in Westwell, a beautiful village, just 2.5 miles from the historic town of Burford, the gateway to the Cotswolds. We have pretty front and rear gardens with mature planting with lots of roses! Private off road parking for 2 cars (additional parking on request). Cosy living room with wood burner, comfy sofas (new Dec 2017) lots of DVDs and board games. Well equipped, newly fitted kitchen, April 2018. Sleeps 7 (+ 1 on request, as only one bathroom) Bedroom 1 - 1 kingsize bed Bedroom 2 - 1 kingsize bed Bedroom 3 - 2 single beds Bedroom 4 - 1 double bed PLEASE NOTE - A car is essential here as there are no facilities or shops in the village and no public transport

Westwell is a quiet rural village, lovely for walking, an ideal location for relaxing in beautiful countryside and exploring some of the lesser known areas of the Cotswolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty, though still close to all the attractions. A stone's throw from Burford, with its attractive antique shops, pubs, cafes and gift shops, as well as the famous Cotswold Wildlife Park. Easy access to Oxford, where you can explore the historic University with its many beautiful colleges and parks. Explore Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water or Cheltenham with its many festivals, unique shops or spend a day at the races during the season.
