We loved everything about the property! So well stocked and provisioned, absolutely beautiful location and so warm and cosy. We looked forward to coming back to it after every day trip and it’s one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Great travel links too with a train station not far and a bus stop just round the corner. Loved all the board games as well. A fantastic, functional little cottage that felt like a true home away from home.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms: a double and a twin, along with a bathroom. To the front, there is off-road parking for one car, and a non-enclosed patio. Within 0.1 miles there is a shop and within 0.2, a pub. Please note, smoking and pets are not permitted. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A highchair, travel cot and bedding and stairgate are available on request. The front patio is non-enclosed next to a river, children must be supervised. Lake Windermere, Lakeside Aquarium, Grizedale Forest Park, and the Windermere Steamboat Museum are all located in Windermere and Ambleside, respectively.
