“I highly recommend staying here. The cottage is beautiful, cosy and spacious. It’s adorned with embroidered pictures made by the owner, Rebecca. The bed is really comfy, and the roll-top bath a completely luxurious treat. It’s very peaceful and a quiet ‘get-away’ from everyday life. “Rose Cottage was a home from home and we now consider Rebecca as much a friend as a host. There was nothing which was too much effort plus the cake and drink on arrival was very welcome after a 200+ mile road journey. The cottage is ideally located only a mile from Highgrove and a couple of miles from Tetbury. There is a local hostelry (the strangely named Cat & Custard Pot) a short walk away for drinks and food. Rebecca was more than happy to make reservations for us wherever and whenever we wanted to eat. All in all, as far as we are concerned, a faultless and enjoyable stay which will no doubt be repeated in the future and we really enjoyed our stay.” Read more
