Our stay at the Old Mill House was excellent. Maggie and Brian were very welcoming and provided an exceptional stay! The ground floor appartment has superb views of the millpond and the hills beyond. It is a comfortable living space, very well-equipped and has the added advantage of an outdoor patio for enjoying meals and watching wildlife. Maggie provides breakfast items which made it very easy, not having to get supplies ourselves. There are lovely walks around the area and the local pub is a short walk away, across the fields.

Sitting having meals looking out over the Mill Pond. Enjoyed watching a heron fishing one morning. Also, there was a decking area to sit outside looking over the Mill Pond with the hill in the distance - would have spent longer outside if the weather had been a bit warmer!! Host and her husband were both very friendly and attentive.

Maggie was exceptionally helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The apartment is exceptionally clean, well maintained and lots of thought to detail. The view over the pond is beautiful and lots of varieties of birds to watch. Very quiet at night and the birds singing in the morning was lovely. It's about 4 miles from Salisbury which has every take away and supermarket and facility you would want. Close to Stone Henge, Salisbury Races and lots if other activities and walks along the river. We will be returning truly fantastic secret hideaway .

Maggie greeted us, explained where everything was and was very friendly. An excellent host! Just a few miles out of Salisbury, the Old Mill House is very convenient for the city and surrounding attractions.

Loved the outlook onto the garden with it's little lake and wildlife. Maggie, the host, was really helpful and friendly without being intrusive and could not have made us more welcome. The little extras on offer were very welcome on arrival with basics in the fridge and tea and coffee etc. Everything was lovely and we have absolutely no negatives and we would definitely stay again . Thank you Maggie for a really enjoyable stay.

This is the 3rd place I've stayed at over 3 weeks in Salisbury and was by far the best.Maggie was lovely. Its a lovely place to stay and very relaxing after a days work when you can wind down by the lake.I loved the place.

Just perfect. A lovely location and an excellent self contained appartment within this wonderfully restored old water mill. And a cheerful and very helpful host. Maggie. Thank you.

Maggie, the hostess was friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. Loved the quirky little touches in the apartment, lots of little thoughtful extras. Beautiful location. Had a lovely time and would definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful stay. The property is in a beautiful setting. Stunning view to wake up to and to relax in. Property was immaculate and has everything for a self catering stay. It truly is a little gem. Maggie was a wonderful host and made sure we had milk, bread, butter and eggs on our arrival. Supermarket 10 mins away. Would stay here again.

Beautiful setting, ideal for exploring the area around Salisbury, Stonehenge, etc. Host very welcoming, lots of thoughtful goodies eg. bread, eggs, milk, orange juice. Would definitely stay there again.
