This hotel was incredibly charming as it is family run and the location is positively incredible. We spent 2 nights in Cardiff and loved every minute of it and a lot of it was because of this hotel. The price is beyond reasonable and what you get for that little bit of money far exceeds just about every other place we've stayed. Do be mindful of the showers as their hot water is really hot. If you come by train it is only a 6 or 7 minute walk to the hotel.

For exploring Cardiff city center, this hotel is perfect. For me it was in a perfect location for the Motorpoint arena, only a 5 min walk down the road, and we were able to drop all our shopping back off to the room when it became too much for us to carry.

The Sandringham is one of the iconic Cardiff hotels, I've wanted to stay here for a while. The price was very good for a city centre hotel and getting free entry to the Jazz society gigs every night and 20% off food and drinks made for added value. Friendly and helpful staff made our stay extra special. Location can't be better whether you're here to shop or to party.

    No ID or deposit needed. No sadly we do not have a lift. Taxi is around £5 from the Motorpoint Arena or a ten minute walk.
