I'm absolutely disgusted by the service of this accommodation. They took money out of my account twice after a mistake. I quickly contacted them and they agreed to issue the refund. It has been over 2 months now, and 4 phone calls later after being told it would be sorted, it still isn't sorted. I stayed at this accommodation for my daughter for an exam she had, and this added stress of being told something but not having it actually done was the last thing we both needed.
I have spoken to different people at the racecourse and everytime I've been promised a follow-up and for the situation to be solved, but this has not been the case.
I do NOT recommend this accommodation at all, purely due to the lack of respect they have for their customers. Leaving customers in the dark and misleading them every time is not how a business should operate, and I have had no choice but to resorting to writing this review.

Doncaster does not have a great reputation.
Doncaster does not have a great reputation. It has a reputation of of social depravation. But Doncaster hides away some incredible sights, wonderfully warm people and things that are a delight that just cant be found anywhere else.
I stayed at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park which was an incredibly wonderful place. It is the best accommodation I have ever stayed in the UK. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate. They were exceptionally friendly, helpful, had a great sense of humour and in the room of the hotel had every thing you needed. The needs of the customer was clearly thought through leaving a sense of gratitude. I was constanly impressed with the decor, comfort and facilities.
The facilities comprised of a small amount of niche retail shops, such as photography, art. But is also had a beauticians. It has plenty of food outlets. It also has indoor adventures for the kids.
The Wild Life Park itself was clean, and quite a nice adventure. It had animatronic dinosoars which might sound unexciting but it was actually good. The kids love this.
In the Park itself there are fast food outlets which are not as high quality as the food and beverage near the accommodation. But they are typical for a Wild Life Park.
The animals in the park seems pretty happy too. Lions, Tigers, Polar Bears, Giraffes, etc. Not to mention monkeys.
It would be a great place to visit for a few days or even a day.

As I had been in Doncaster a few times I just travelled to places like Newark, Wakefield, DONCASTER was a lively market town, we ate in Toby Carverys and Brewer Fayres due to the fact that I had been given cards for my Birthday
The Plough Inn is a perfect stop if you are going to be in Doncaster or the surrounding area. The rooms are totally great for the price. Our family of 3 slept there and had a great night. But, the room is not what we found to be the best thing. The food at the pub downstairs was HANDS DOWN the best we had in all of England. The staff, the locals, and the people were the highlight of our trip. If you get a chance to visit in the evening, do not hesitate to order. It was absolutely delicious and the people were delightful!
All the staff were very friendly, Karl who worked at the reception was very helpful, welcoming and had a great sense of humour. The all you can eat breakfast was good. The room was extremely clean thanks to the hard working cleaning lady, the heating could be left on the temperature you liked without turning itself down like in other hotels. The fact that you can just walk out of your room door to be outside without having to walk through a reception area was good.
We have stayed in dozens of guest houses over the years and this was by far the best one we have stayed in. The owner Tracy was extremely friendly. The location was fab, 10 minute walk to the racecourse and only £3.50 in a taxi coming back from the town centre on the night time.
The room was lovely and bed very comfortable.
The breakfast was very tasty.
We will certainly be staying here again when we next visit Doncaster.
Cosy apartment with all the basic amenities for a comfortable stay. We spent 3 nights at the apartment during our visit to Doncaster. It is well located with easy access to restaurants, superstores and the town centre. The kitchen was stocked with tea/coffee/sugar and fresh milk on arrival which was great to get started in the morning. Elizabeth was kind enough to allow an extension with the checkout as well.
The location of the Hotel is great on the main road between Doncaster and Bawtry, has ample car parking each room is soundproofed to a high standard and contains all the things that you need for your stay. The rooms are good size and have suitable shower area with toiletries supplied. In the hotel you have the advantage of the Toby Carvery for Lunches, Dinners and of course breakfasts if you need them.
Very clean and close to all the main areas. Stayed as going to races, only short walk away, town centre also only short walk away. Partner left his suit in the wardrobe, hotel staff really helpful and got it back to him by post. Intend staying again next year for races.
Great room massive with sofa amazing queen size bed and huge bathroom with an amazing large rainfall walk in shower we stayed in some amazing hotels in past but this one at the Doncaster mount pleasant tops them all. Very swish and beautiful gardens and seating areas. ❤️
Check in lovely and welcoming ,Excellent rooms, clean, tea/coffee , hairdryer, for the price on a race weekend second to non. Big outside area ..Staff were lovely nothing too much trouble
Central location for bars restaurants, shopping etc
The room was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was so quiet - we had a brilliant sleep. The bathroom was lovely in Castle Howard room and it had all been recently refurbished so it was a lovely room.
This hotel was simply amazing! Fabulous family rooms with bunk beds for the kids. Gorgeous design, comfy beds, and is incredibly clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious too! We will stay here again without question.
Everything, especially the kitchen which was well stocked with all the basics. That's so generous of the hosts.
This is probably the best place to stay when in Doncaster. Better than any hotel accommodation.
Clean and comfortable room in a modern hotel right next to the zoo. Breakfast was very good and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We will likely stay again when we next visit Doncaster.
The room was very comfortable and the view was incredible. Great facilities and a good breakfast. Would certainly stay here again. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Doncaster.
I had a comfortable stay, very spacious and clean room and bathroom, quiet and green area, comfy bed, good restaurant. the personnel were friendly and caring.
