On the Fringe of the West End this recently refurbished traditional Tenement apartment over looks Scotstoun Stadium/Victoria Park. This 2nd floor apartment provides self catering for up to 5 people and is on a major bus route to the West End and Glasgow City Centre. The apartment is 4 miles /10minutes ride from the City Centre, 7 miles/15 minutes ride from Glasgow Airport and is an ideal Gateway to Loch Lomond and the North. The apartment is on the 2nd Floor (4 small flights of stairs) with 2 Good sized bedrooms, with Zip and Link Hotel style very comfortable beds that can be configured as singles (4 off) or Super King Size ( 2 off). The Lounge has an additional Sofa Bed/Guest Bed. The Kitchen is fully equipped (Oven, Hob, Microwave, toaster,Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine and Utensils). The apartment has a mains supplied Shower roman a separate Toilet room. Double Glazing and central Heating throughout. Guests have access to the whole apartment , Access via Lockbox at communal door. Safety: 2 smoke alarms , 1 CO2 Detector, 2 Fire extinguishers, Fire blanket and internal thumb turn locks on the main door.
I am a seasoned traveler both domestic and international and understand the need to have a safe ,clean, quiet abode with good beds that provide a good/restful nights sleep. I am first and foremost a Glaswegian who is proud of his place of birth and recommends this vibrant City with the best shopping in the UK (Outside of London).
Scotstoun is on the West of the "West End" , a popular neighbourhood with excellent transport links. There is a bus stop across the road from the flat and a Bank of Scotland at the end of the Block. Byres Road/Ashton Lane is 5 minutes ride away with numerous Bars and Restaurants and the City Centre can be accessed via the Clydeside Expressway rapidly. The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital is only 5 minutes away via the Clyde Tunnel. Scotstoun Stadium ( Home of the Glasgow Warriors Rugby Team) and Leisure Centre offers public swimming and gym access. The apartment offers free street parking and the No 2 Bus will take you to the City Centre rapidly. Scotstounhill and Jordanhill Train stations are 0.8 and 1.2 miles away respectively. There is Car Hire available via Arnold Clark on South Street 10 minutes walk/0.5 mile.
