Excellent location. Quiet but near the sea front. Comfortable and amiable setting
United KingdomLocation was really good.Breakfast looked very nice.My only gripe would be i had the gluten free breakfast & was given veggie sausages they were horrible & a rack of toast that only contained normal bread. Would have thought if someone orders a gluten free breakfast you would automatically get gluten free bread ! My partner was happy as he had lots of toast to eat.
United KingdomProperty was clean, staff very polite and friendly and very close to all amenities.
United KingdomExcellent value for money, friendly, great cooked breakfast. Very warm welcome
United KingdomThe Staff made you feel welcomed and they were always helpful,,rooms were clean and the breakfast is excellent.
United KingdomVery friendly couple you only had to ask for anything extra and it was provided. They have a good Covid system in place which works very well. Our room was spotless, breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked. It is very close to the beach, town and fun fair so did not need to use the car everyday and search for parking. A very pleasant stay
United KingdomBreakfast was delicious and plenty of it one of the best we have had sausage were delicious nothing was to much trouble
United KingdomEverything was brilliant, lovely hosts and staff, room was clean with comfortable beds and plenty of space. The breakfast was great and plentiful with plenty of options, and the home made jams were excellent. The property is a short walk to the seafront. We will definitely return.

Host Info
All rooms are light and airy with ample storage space to make for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The majority of our en suites have baths, making them ideal for cleaning up small sandy people after a tiring day on the beach or a luxurious soak after a long day! All rooms have WiFi, colour TVs, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities and are serviced daily. Our young visitors all receive a goody bag upon arrival, which should keep them occupied long enough for you to get unpacked! Daily newspapers are available on request. We use only the best, locally sourced ingredients in our award winning breakfasts and all our jams and marmalades are homemade. We know our food inside-out, and can tailor our menu to suit your needs. From vegetarian and vegan to food intolerances or just plain fussy kids, we'll set you up for the day with a relaxed and enjoyable breakfast experience. Packed-lunches are available on request - perfect for a midday picnic on the beach. Our packed lunches can be made individually or presented as a collective hamper, for that family or group day out. We also offer an evening meal option so you don't need to venture out at the end of the day. We are lucky enough to have both a dining room and separate lounge bar area which makes meal times a relaxed experience and means that there's scope for pre-dinner drinks and to take your tea and coffee in a more comfortable setting. Everyone is different and we do our best to make sure that each guest gets the type of experience that they want.
We're the Greys and the Seahorse Guest House is both our home and our business. The seeds were sown for this family adventure at the beginning of 2011 when we started to welcome paying guests into our home in Surrey. It was great fun working together as a team and we really enjoyed taking care of our guests, who very kindly gave some fabulous feedback on our hospitality. Buying a 14 bedroomed guest house was a big decision but a hugely exciting one. Having travelled extensively in the UK - both as a family and for work - we know exactly what's important to us when staying away from home but everyone is different and so we want to deliver the type of stay that each of our guests is looking for - whatever that might be. We are both executive and family friendly. We pride ourselves on our home cooked breakfasts and also offer an evening meal option - so no need to venture out at the end of the day. We aim for a relaxed and homely atmosphere but pride ourselves on the quality of our service and our food!
We enjoy a quiet location just 5 minutes walk from the Sea Life Centre and all the major attractions of this wonderfully vibrant town. Great Yarmouth is an ideal holiday destination for all ages, all year round. Our Golden mile Sandy Beach is packed with activities, from the thrills of the pleasure beach to the peaceful gardens of the waterways. Come inland & explore the bustling marketplace or enjoy a guided historic walk. An ideal base to explore the Norfolk broads and surrounding villages.
