Great restaurant's to take your pick from.

Great restaurant's to take your pick from. A really lovely pub (The Australia) highly recommend and the Snowdonia national park on your doorstep . you can also take advantage of the main line train to do large sections of the Wales coastal path getting off and walking a section and on again at different stations, Note, please tell the conductor witch station you want to get off at as the train doesn't stop automatically at all stations. Welsh coastal path is stunning in and around porthmadog well worth walking.

We primarily chose this hotel so that we could spend time in Port Meirion village. We did go into Porthmadog and took a ride on the steam train. There are shops and cafes in Porthmadog but we dis not visit them.

Porthmadog is the perfect place to stay when visiting...

Porthmadog is the perfect place to stay when visiting Portmerion, or if walking and exploring the area. It does have a pretty harbour/marina. There are plenty of choices for eating out. Plus the heritage railway is a short walk.

Beautiful town and surrounded by lots to do and good amenities . We travelled to Ffestiniog to get train to llandudno, which was a lovely journey and a 1/ 5 of price of heritage train trips. We will definitely be going back to stay again..

A little home away from home with everything we needed. We didn’t pay for breakfast as we used the kitchen in our room which was more than adequate for our stay. The deco in the cabin was lovely. The extras of a birthday balloon & banners made the birthday stay that bit nicer. Made a lovely base of which we explored north wales. If we could have stayed longer we would have without a doubt. The staff were so friendly, & the garden terrace bar was absolutely stunning for an evening drink

The walk in shower - like a cave! It was beautiful and an amazing experience! The colours of the decor was lovely and it all matched well. The apartment had everything you needed for a comfortable stay! Location was ideal for travelling around North Wales! Parking was always available somewhere on the street but never directly outside. Would certainly recommend to others and return at some point. Diolch yn fawr

I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a double bedroom instead of a single one. My room was very cute & quiet. Area might get busier and louder at times, I was there on a weekday in November. The staff was very nice. I had breakfast the next morning, it was one of the best full English I had!! Restaurant is very well decorated. Great location to explore North Wales. Would definitely come back.

The hotel is in it's own grounds surrounded by a park of mobile homes and villas, with a footpath along a stream. Room was very clean and modern. Public areas were cosy and well furnished. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't eat in the hotel, but the food looked and smelt wonderful.
