Breakfast was provided diy fashion. Toast and/or cereals, tea/coffee. We loved it. The bed gave us the best sleep in weeks. Brilliant location for eats etc. Nick and Claire were lovely. We'll be back!!Should have remembered my slippers

We had a lovely stay and the hosts are fabulous. The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was great. Lovely effect of lights around room. Although breakfast isn't advertised, we were delighted that this was provided. We had a lovely walk down to the Hamble River, and the yachting Marina. Enjoyed a quiet drink and pleasant walk back. This was easy access from Solent View. We will stay again and thank you to the Solent View for a very pleasant stay.

Location, relaxed atmosphere. Rooms didn't lock, no TV in our bedroom. We were safe. Very welcoming, definitely hope to go back. The location for Warsash excellent & short walk to the coast, very happy. Breakfast was all fresh & adequate. Recommend the new High Tides cafe for cooked breakfast & The Rising Sun for meals. Thanks alot for our Staycation.

During Covid times the hosts had tried to make it as pleasant as possible with the use of a separate kitchen with breakfast - cereal and toast available for us to use. The room is very large but cosy and it felt very much part of a family home but with complete privacy. Nick was very personable, helpful but not intrusive.

    Hi Calum Yes we could accommodate you. We have more restricted kitchen facilities than normal but there is a kettle toaster and microwave which guests find is all they need. Nick

  • Good morning Are u near the holiday park , Solent breeze ? We wondering how near it is ? Walk it ? As would like to book a couple of rooms.

    Hello. Solent Breezes can be walked to from our, along the beach or via pavement and paths. I think it is about 30 minutes to walk there...

    Hi. We have three double bedrooms that are available. It is a private house that is our home. Each bedroom has its own en suite.

  • We have 1 and 2 year old and we have travel cot that they normally share. Is it possible to rent just 1 room?

    HI. Yes, in theory that would be fine, but when are you thinking of renting? Govt restrictions are still in place that stop us renting at the moment

Welcome to our home! We love where we live and find that our guests love it too. As a former B&B we have transformed it into a family home, and we enjoy welcoming guests when we are not full of our own family! We are situated minutes away from the water, and a short walk from the local village with its pubs and cafes. We are also very conveniently situated for the Maritime Academy for anyone looking for somewhere to stay when studying there. We do have a dog, she is friendly and will love anyone who gives her some attention! Please note, we are a family home and not an official guest house, and our bedrooms reflect this, which many people love! We don't have tea and coffee facilities in the rooms (but you are welcome to use the kettle etc at anytime within our kitchen), nor do we have televisions in some of the rooms.
