Cosy, quirky, friendly place in a pretty little village. Room was gorgeous with the comfiest bed I have ever slept in & a fabulous copper bath to soak away the days achy feet. The little cookies & cakes left out added to the charm. All the staff were friendly & accommodating. We loved it!! After sharing with a friend they have booked to stay this weekend.

Food was amazing.
Food was amazing. Lovely bathroom products and lots of personal touches made the stay memorable. Good location for visiting many sights. Main drawback was no overhead ceiling shower due to ceiling height, so shower had to be handheld, which made hair washing tricky.

Hawkhurst is a small town, but has the amenities you need such as supermarkets and shops. It is ideally situated for a number of attractions in the area, such as Sissinghurst, Bodiam Castle, Great Dixter etc.

Nice country pubs and easy to find shops. Waitrose and Tesco are very helpful and off the main street. Great scenery nearby. Nice people. We drove to Hawkhurst and enjoyed some beautiful spring weather. Feels very rural but with benefits of local services. Would certainly return.

I know this is something that you can say of many hotels, but at The Queen's Inn in it was just in another League. Each day fresh milk was left at the door. Not the usual UHT plastic carton rubbish, but proper fresh milk. The restaurant was good as was the breakfasts in the morning. This is most definitely a gem of a venue.

Charming, welcoming hosts made me feel completely at home. The barn is well equipped for self-catering and is spotless and well maintained. Ideally placed for visits to Great Dixter and Sissinghurst. I loved my stay here and would definitely return!
