There is a beautiful lake 10 mins from the house. You can sit and enjoy the scenery or feed the ducks. There is also a park near the lake where you can go for walks. Abbeywood has recently undergone much reconstruction and has been heavily gentrified in the last 18 months. Abbeywood station has also been upgraded to include crossrail which links you straight to Heathrow. You can also get direct links from Abbeywood to London Bridge, Charing Cross and Luton. Local supermarkets are lidl and Sainsburys. There is also a Post office, a very good fish and chip shop and an excellent Chinese take away shop, and other off licenses within 5 mins walking distance. If you wish to venture a little further you can hop on a bus into Woolwich where you have ample options for restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and markets stalls. Transport around the property is excellent. The bus stop is a 2 min walk away and the train station is a 7 min walk. You can connect to virtually anywhere in England pretty easily. There is also free parking in the area for those who drive and it is pretty easy to connect to the A2 or Blackwall tunnel.
