Hello, I’m Susan Payton and welcome to Springburn Farmhouse which is a modern and comfortable residence set in 18 acres of Croft land offering stunning views over the local hills and glens. I aim to provide a high standard of service and housekeeping within a casual and relaxed atmosphere. Feel free to relax with a glass of wine in our comfortable resident’s lounge overlooking the stunning highland scenery, or pick a book from our selection and just chill out with a coffee. We enjoy meeting people, hearing about their travels and doing all we can to make sure our guests feel at home at Springburn Farmhouse. Springburn Farmhouse is situated on the main A82 road from Fort William to Inverness and the Isle of Skye. The house boasts a number of spacious, well-appointed and comfortable en-suite boutique style guest rooms along with a breakfasting room, a resident’s lounge and a large reception hall with comfortable sofas and armchairs to enjoy some serenity, read a book from the large selection available or simply admire the spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. We pride ourselves on the quality of the hospitality we provide to our guests and strive to ensure every visitor receives the welcome we would hope to receive ourselves.

Located 11 miles from the bustling town of Fort William and just 2 miles north of the picturesque village of Spean Bridge in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland, the area boasts a wide variety of activities and excellent restaurants are within easy reach. Springburn Farmhouse is an ideal base for a few days to explore the many attractions of the local area with day trips to Glencoe, Oban, Loch Ness, Inverness and the Isle of Skye within easy reach. Museums, Distilleries and hiking are synonymous with the Highlands and a trip up the Nevis Range Gondola with its 2 marked walks to spectacular viewpoints is a must. Ben Nevis is only 20 mins away. A highlight of the area is the Jacobite Steam Train trip from Fort William to Mallaig. Known as one of the greatest rail journeys in the world, the train featured in the Harry Potter movies as the 'Hogwarts Express'. It is a magnificent trip with some breathtaking scenery of lochs, glens and tranquil sandy beaches to admire. The trip can be combined with a dolphin spotting cruise in Mallaig, timed to tie in with train arrival and departure times. This is a very popular trip not to be missed, so make sure tickets are purchased in advance.
