There was an added bonus of allowing me to take my bicycle into my room, meaning i did not have to worry about secure storage overnight. The staff also made an exception to allow me to access some breakfast early, which was much appreciated.

**UNDER NEW MANAGMENT** We have just taken over the property. There is substantial works planned for the hotel including and not limited to complete renovation of the rooms, kitchen and dining area. The works will be ongoing in a quiet and tidy manor one room at a time however we have decided to open some budget rooms in the meantime as we get them to what we consider to be a liveable standard. We will be able to provide a continental breakfast included in your room rate until the kitchen is fully renovated. We will do everything in our power to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay at St. Andrews House.
This is a family run establishment, The building has been owned by our family since the 1970’s. The owner and managment have major plans to restore this property to its former glory. The hostess is a 5 star Superhost on Air BnB for over 2 years so rest assured everything will be done to make your stay as pleasant as reasonably possible during the transition.
We are located near to Lane Ends in Preston. There are a couple of local shops within walking distance for anything you have forgotten last minute. There is also a good pub called Lane Ends which serves food until late in the evening and a selection of takeaways that can deliver or within walking distance just ask for a recommendation. The guest house is about 10 mins away from the train station, university and the docklands.
