Excellent view of the sea from the room. Very clean room. Breakfast was superb also. I have stayed for 2 nights, and even though I have forgotten to give my breakfast request the day before, the staffs were able to accommodate and cook a delicious Scottish breakfast very quickly the next morning despite the short notice.

  • Do you have a lift as my husband is disabled

    Hi, we do not have a lift but we do have a ground floor room with en suite. Entrance to the property is on the level and breakfast room is also on the ground floor. Get in touch if you need more information

  • Is it easy walking distance from the ferry port..

    Hi, Sorry didn't see your message sooner. yes wearea15mins walk from the main ferry. Fairly easy walk along the front at the sea. No hills. Buses and taxis also available.

  • Hi, is there transport from the ferry to the guest house ie bus or taxi and how far is it from the town centre?

    Hi, yes there are buses and taxis from the pier, although it is a pleasant walk of about 15mins. maybe a little longer if you are carrying bags. I can manage less than 15mins walking quickly. About 1mile. Hope this is helpful

  • Hi there do you have any facilities to house a mountain bike safely??

    Guests usually store bikes in the rear garden. It is behind a closed gate and out of sight. There is nowhere indoors for bikes. There is very little of this type of crime on the Island. Hope that helps.

  • When is the best time to visit your property for the perfect beach holiday?

    Beach holidays in Scotland might be a little different to what you may be expecting! We have beautiful bays and beaches on the Ilse of Bute. Spring , Autumn and Winter beaches are great for walking on, looking for treasures and you may be luck enough to see some local wildlife! Sea Otters, Porpoises and lots of Seals. The summer months (April to October) you may be lucky and have fabulous weather for paddling, swimming and building sandcastles. Always some kind of beach holiday. #ilovebute

  • My husband and I are planning a motorcycle tour of the UK in June. I am enquiring if you have secure overnight parking for our motorcycle please?

  • Sorry I forgot to ask, would you have anywhere to charge and park a small mobility scooter-thanks

    Hi, small mobility scooter could be possibly stored, hallway or garden. I'm not sure about charging. You would need to access power from the house. We are planning to have an outdoor power socket installed so you never know it might be possible.
