“Simon the host, was very delightful to speak with, he gave a warm service from the booking, during our stay and even after we left. He made sure that we got everything we needed to make our visit to york beautiful. I particularly loved the view from my room. The windows were large and opened up to a lovely view of trees and the quiet street below. I booked 2 superior rooms which were large enough; my friends and I were initially going to sleep 2 per room, but we had so much fun we eventually slept off 3 per room, and it was more than comfortable. One of us slept on the sofa bed that was provided. Even though we forgot to request the breakfast option ahead, Alison and Demi in the kitchen prepared a lovely fresh breakfast for us and the service was top-notch. I liked that St George's hotel was a comfortable walking distance to the City Center and the York Race Course. I would definitely be visiting next time.”
