Everything. The staff were friendly, the service was excellent, the room was cozy and comfortable. The whole property is gorgeous. I would definitely stay there again. The room was very clean and the place was quiet.

United KingdomThe room we stayed in was really lovely. Excellent position with a lovely 15 minute walk into York City Centre. We had a wonderful breakfast and was made to feel very safe as it was an after lockdown short break away.
United KingdomBooked as a last minute decision (the same morning!), we weren't expecting a great deal but were pleasantly surprised. Host was lovely, room was great and very clean. Opted to add breakfast to our stay which was really nice too. Only took 20 minutes to walk into town.

In addition both we and the hotel owner had to deal with personal unexpected family issues during our stay and this was done with consideration and common sense. Good hotel, good people I would recommend them highly.

United KingdomWhat a fantastic BnB, the ease of check in, the room was a great size, bed was lovely and soft , huge flat screen TV. Amazing breakfast, with organic sausages, bacon, Stornoway black pudding, and all the trimmings, will definitely be using this gem of a BnB again when staying in York, plus only 1 mile away from town centre, and train station.
