This was a fabulous chill weekend, the cottage had everything we needed. Although a little tucked away, it was close to Kielder Castle and the local pub (a short drive or long walk). Location was ideal for us as we had booked to go to the Sky Observatory, which was only 10 minutes by car (well worth a visit - even if it is cloudy- booking essential). We enjoyed exploring the area on the Saturday, which was a lovely day - but the Sunday was a bit wet, so we had a lovely chilled out day, playing DVD's, enjoying the hot tub, watching catch up TV, playing games and eating the lovely battenberg our host left us. All in all a fabulous long weekend.

The keys were left in the door so we didn’t have to do anything. The lady was lovely and left home made cake for our arrival. The hot tub was amazing. The location was amazing within a holiday village and the National Park.
