Stay on the Bay is a lovely new cabin, next door to our home and BnB Minikoi, situated right on the edge of Broadford bay. Our cabin is the perfect space, for two to relax and enjoy simply stunning views. As well as being within walking distance of local restaurants and bars, the cabin is also very central for exploring all corners of our beautiful island. Our cabin has an open plan living / dining space with a fully equipped kitchen. Patio Doors open out to the view where you have a decked area to sit out on and take in the views (and if you are very lucky the local otter). We have a spacious bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite shower room. Lie in bed and watch the boats leaving from the local pier and listen to the sound of the waves. The bedroom also has patio doors and a decked area.
Finlay and I have lived on Skye all our lives and eight years ago Finlay (I helped a little) built our home, Minikoi, by the sea. We love living here and it is a wonderful place to bring up our four sons. My main job is being a mother to the boys and I also really enjoy getting to meet new people through our B&B. After many successful years of B and B we have decided to branch out and Finlay has just finished a beautiful larch clad cabin next door to Minikoi. We hope you will love it as much as we do!! We look forward to meeting you. We also have two very friendly dogs, Ben and Gus, that live here. They may not be as respectful of your privacy as the humans -but we are trying to teach them good manners :)
We are right in the heart of Broadford so once you have finished your sight seeing for the day you can park the car and walk to the local restaurants and shops. We would recommend a car so you can see the most of Skye. However if you want to travel by train / bus there are plenty of local walks in Broadford and Strath.
