United KingdomThe service was spectacular: friendly, expert, helpful, welcoming. Especially Katerina, who made us feel at home and was as charming as she was helpful. When the bed proved too soft for me, the manager gave me two choices for a floor-mattress set-up. The space was one that a guest could stay for a long time: full kitchenette. Not only all the utensils and dishes and pans and pots, but also things like scissors. The very modern laundry facility,, free of charge, was another plus. We felt the layout was roomy enough to feel like a home-away-from-home.

Staybridge Suites Newcastle is an all-suite hotel offering both studio and one-bedroom suites. All of the suites are stylishly furnished and each one has a living room area, a workspace and a flat-screen TV with cable and movie channels. Every suite has contemporary comforts and facilities.
A generous buffet breakfast is included in the price and on-site parking is available at an additional cost. Guests can make use of free laundry room, as well as the fitness center.
The suites are just a few hundred yards from the shops, bars and restaurants of the Quayside area and some have views of the river and the Millennium Bridge. • Our property is in the city’s Ouseburn Valley district, described by the Guardian last summer as the Shoreditch of the North and ‘the north-east’s pumping creative heart’. • The area is considered Newcastle’s cultural quarter and one of the highlights we regularly work with, and just a few minutes’ walk from our hotel that you might not know about is the Biscuit Factory. The largest independent commercial art, craft and design gallery is home to a café, a restaurant and some of the city’s most original meeting spaces, including a rooftop garden terrace and purpose-built function suite.
