West Wycombe is a great base for walking in the surrounding countryside, as well as being within easy reach of the surrounding towns. I used to live locally so I chose this particular hotel because I love the location, whilst wanting to be reasonably close to High Wycombe train station.

We were there for three days (two nights) for the Grand Prix so didn't see a great deal other than Silverstone. However the journey to and from our accommodation was stunning countryside and breathtaking views along country roads that had little or no traffic. Satnav a must for where we were.
