The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was a single, small but comfortable with a desk for working if necessary. Breakfast was excellent, I always have haggis when in Scotland (it doesn't taste the same in Plymouth). Breakfast was freshly cooked and most enjoyable. I had dinner in the bar on two occasions and once again fresh food, well cooked and presented. I'll definitely stay there again or at their sister hotel which is open all year. Whilst I was there for work there is lots for tourists of all types, sedentary or otherwise, in the area, road tour cycling seems to be very popular
