The cottage was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. It was so quiet and peaceful. It was equipped with everything you could need. It had a lovely wood burning stove which we used a few times. Simon and Emily were very helpful and arranged day trips for us. Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fantastic location, clean and modern cottage with everything required for self-catering holiday. Cot and highchair supplied in addition to toy box and brilliant outdoor play area - fantastic for young children. Lots of space, and lots to see in local area and beyond. Great to see the chickens and wild rabbits in the garden.

Excellent country cottage, quiet location but short drive to lots of towns and attractions. Stunning views of countryside. Cottage exceptionally clean and well furnished. Hosts left some cleaning items (washing up/dishwasher), logs for woodburner, tea bags and loo rolls, and even a bag of quick start bbq coals. Bedrooms were roomy and airy and we all slept well. It was a real pleasure to get "home" to our cottage after days out. Good wi fi and showers, essential for our teenagers. Owners kept in touch to ensure we were happy and everything okay for us. Cannot recommend enough.

  • Is there WiFi? Just need to psychologically prepare 18 and 20 year old if not!

    Hi Yes we have great WiFi - with speeds up to 35mpbs which should be more than fast enough for the 18 and 20 year old :)

  • Is there a Sandy family beach for a 2 year old and how far is it. Thank you.

    We are a 20 min drive from wonderful family friendly beach of Coldingham Bay, award winning clean water badge and one of Scotlands top beaches

  • Hello, hope you're well? Is the 2 bedroom cottage on your farm the one with single beds? Only the bunk beds aren't an option for us. Kind regards, Karen

    Hi Karen, The second room in each of the 3 cottages have single beds which connect together to make 1 super king bed depending on your preference. The 3 bedroom cottages additionally have bunk beds in the third bedroom. Hope this helps. Simon

    Absolutely Allanton Inn 1.6 miles (fantastic bistro style food and drink), Waterloo arms 1 mile (pub grub and drink ),Hemelvaart 3.9 miles(Huge selection of Ales from all over the world), The Craw Inn 3.2miles (Country style pub food and good beers)

  • Has cottage shower cubicle.not o erbath

    Stewards house and Hayloft house (3 bed houses) have a shower cubicle in the ensuite bathroom, the second bathroom has a bath, the downstairs bathroom is a wetroom with shower (no cubicle) Northend (2 bed) has a shower in a cubicle and a free standing roll top bath in the main bathroom

Our cottage are self-contained accommodation with a private garden. FREE SUPER FAST WIFI. Our cottages are spacious, great for family, couple retreat or business use. Please note for bookings for business use, we only accept one adult per bedroom. We have ample space on our private land to walk and get some fresh air. We have a shared play area for the children to enjoy. Our cottages are all well equipped with lovely styled touches throughout, providing you with a home from home. We provide 40 inch TV & DVD player, fast free WiFi, super comfy sofas and fully equipped kitchen, great bedrooms and bathrooms.

We live on the farm, with our young family, we look forward to welcoming you to the Scottish Borders
