Full Cumbrian breakfast, delicious, kept me going for hours. Many of the staff were absolutely lovely, friendly and welcoming. Room was comfortable and clean, bed extremely comfortable.

Located outskirts of town centre. Nice leisurely walk into town about 20 minutes. Food was delicious and well presented. Staff were excellent they made us feel very welcome and nothing was a problem. super pleased with the nice long pool opening hours, super nice food, and ultra helpful staff! had no issues with assistance being totally blind, which is almost a miracle in these days of all this obsessive social distancing stuff. one thing that was also super helpful was the audio info that they provided for me, even hotels specifically for the visually impaired haven't got the hang of this yet. all in all, got to go to the top of the A list, and would be my first choice for a place to stay in that area again!

We liked the friendly welcome from the hotel staff. Especially Hazel who we met most. Also Sylvie who served us breakfast was lovely and very attentive. The Stonecross Manor is located just a short walk from the town. We will return soon for a relaxing weekend. The pool was really nice after a full day walking in the Lakes.

    There is no extra charge, residents have free use of the leisure facilities, and they are open from 6am till 9pm daily.

  • A 2 night stay includeds breakfast and dinner. Is that just for the first night or the first and second night we are there?

    The dinner, bed and breakfast rate is usually for both nights. However, you can just book a one night Dinner, Bed and Breakfast if you prefer. Many Thanks Helen

  • Hi will the pool and hot tub be open on 28th June to 2nd July thank you

    The pool is open but the jacuzzi is currently closed. We will wait for the government guidelines if we can safely reopen the jacuzzi and steam room.

  • hi how long would it take to walk from kendal train station to here?

    Kendal train station would be approximately 50 minutes walk or you can walk to Oxenholme Train Station in approximately 40 minutes.

  • we're thinking of booking for a November stay, will all facilities including pool, and jacuzzi be open
