Everything about the cottage was beautiful. Easy check in. A large gift pack ful of goodies the beds were so comfy. The room was very nice and the little touches of the candles. The massive TV screen saver on the TV. I could have sat and watched that all night. It was just beautiful 😍

Absolutely wonderful stay in the Junior Suite, the most peaceful night's sleep we have had on our trip so far! Everything had been thought of, the suite was so well equipped and set up. We loved how comfortable and clean it was too. The pub across the road was the cherry on top! Owners/host were absolutely lovely and we appreciated all the information and such a smooth process. Would absolutely recommend staying here, and we look forward to coming back next time :)

With a lovely 17th-century rustic country pub/restaurant directly across the road, Stonehenge Cottages are set in a picturesque village within a 10-minute drive of Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral.

Our newly refurbished AA 5-star cottages both include a complimentary luxury continental breakfast hamper, free parking, large flat-screen TVs, free superfast Wi-Fi throughout, and fast electric car charging (at extra cost).

Guests can choose from 2 stunning cottages. The Executive Suite has two bedrooms (one king and one twin), two bathrooms/showers, a huge farmhouse-style lounge with a traditional log burner (logs included), a rustic dining table, massive 65-inch cinema-style TV and a fully equipped kitchen with a cooker, dishwasher, microwave, and Nespresso coffee machine.

Looking onto woodland, the Junior Suite features a sizeable bedroom with a king-size bed, 50-inch flat-screen TV and a big en-suite bathroom/shower, a dining table, and its own kitchen.

Both suites have free Netflix, Amazon Prime and BBC iPlayer, plus their own rustic picnic bench and parasol outside to enjoy a glass or two in the evenings during the summer.

The outside of the cottages is lit up with fairy lights and lanterns at night to welcome you back from a cosy night in the pub.

There is a range of games and books provided for your entertainment, plus there is a children’s playpark a few minutes' drive away.

The pub opposite is called The Wheatsheaf Inn, a Hall & Woodhouse pub. They offer a free drink to all our guests who eat there.

The most regular feedback is, “we wish we had booked for longer!”

Nearby attractions include Stonehenge, Wilton House, Salisbury Cathedral featuring “The Magna Carta”, Wardour Castle, Old Sarum, Longleat Safari park and Paulton’s Theme Park featuring Peppa Pig World. We are only 1 hour from Bath, and there are a host of fabulous golf courses and fishing areas, plus some of the most beautiful riverside walks. A lovely riverside pub called The Bridge Inn Woodford is a 5-minute drive away and has a stunning pub garden overlooking the water. A giant Waitrose Supermarket is within a 10-minute drive.

Stonehenge Cottages are two luxury suites for holidays or business trips, set in an idyllic riverside valley 10 minutes from Salisbury Cathedral & Stonehenge and only 45 minutes from Dorset’s finest beaches. Close to Wilton House, Old Sarum, Longleat Safari Park, Go Skydive, Paultons Park, Peppa Pig World, Wardour Castle, and only an hour from Bath. Situated directly opposite a 17th-century rustic pub and restaurant and a short drive from a lovely riverside pub. Children and pets welcome - there is a park and play area within a few minute's drive. Some of the best fishing in the UK (requires contacting the local Salisbury & District angling club)

Stonehenge Cottage is set in an idyllic and tranquil valley on the banks of the trout-filled River Avon, 10 minutes from Salisbury city centre, Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral (with the best preserved original Magna Carta), and only 35 minutes from Dorset’s finest beaches. The surrounding area is full of picturesque villages and country houses such as the 16th-century Heale House with 8 acres of beautiful gardens.
