If you're looking for a stylish, peaceful oasis to return to after a day exploring London then this is the place for you. The house is in Bermondsey, a hip, buzzy area of London, just south of Tower Bridge, but just off the beaten track so it feels like a quiet haven. The house is stylishly decorated with an airy, bright kitchen, a cosy living room, a sunny courtyard garden, three big double bedrooms and two bathrooms. We also have a parking spot at the back of the house.
We are Angela, Paul and our little boy Ziggy. We recently decamped from London to St-Leonards-on-Sea on the sunny East Sussex coast. We love art, music, pottering around markets and the great outdoors. I work for a charity and Paul is a musician. We've stayed in other people's places through AirBnB for years and we're now excited to share our own place with the AirBnB community. We live outside of London now but we'll be happy to help by phone for any questions or issues.
Bermondsey is a great area. A short walk from the house is Bermondsey Street which has some of London's best restaurants, some great cafes and the White Cube gallery. The buzzy Maltby Street market is a short walk away, as is Tower Bridge, The Bridge theatre, the Unicorn Theatre and the river. Borough Market is around a 30 minute stroll. There are lots of transport options with Bermondsey tube station, London Bridge station and many bus routes that will speedily get you anywhere in central London.
