Beautiful place to stay. We would have liked to stay longer..Wonderful English cottage. we stayed in winter and although unfortunately the castle was closed the cottage was warm and welcoming with great books to read. Well presented and clean.

  • The "Flexible" cancellation policy is 2 months before you go, if I am looking to go in October and if there was a local lockdown that meant I can't go to the cottage, or the cottage is perhaps in a lockdown area, will I still get a refund if it happens inside that 2 months, e.g. September?
    If we are not allowed to host guests, then we would refund you in full. However, if we host guests, but you are in an area that is subject to a local lockdown and cannot travel, then we would not refund. Kind regards. Bolthole Retreats

    The guest can cancel free of charge until 60 days prior arrival. The total price of the reservation will be charged if cancelled in the 60 days prior arrival. The guest will be charged a prepayment of the total price of the reservation at any time.

This delightful, three-bedroom, two-bathroom, self-contained, two-storey country cottage on the Sudeley Castle Estate is surrounded by a large, rambling garden, with outstanding views down the Winchcombe Valley. Sleeping six across one ensuite king-size room, one double bedroom and one twin, the Guest Cottage is ideal for a family or a group of three couples. During your stay you are entitled to free admission to Sudeley Castle and Gardens during the Castle’s open season (except for separately ticketed events). The Guest Cottage is five minutes’ walk to the entrance to Sudeley Castle and Gardens and just ten minutes’ walk to the heart of historic Winchcombe. It is our policy not to take bookings for single sex group celebrations, which includes Stag and Hen nights, or groups where the majority are under 25 years. Please note that additional guests above the maximum capacity are not permitted.

Winchcombe is an elegant and timeless Cotswold town. Venture down the narrow side streets to find a mix of Cotswold stone cottages and black and white half-timbered buildings.
