Breakfast outstanding - quality of ingredients, presentation and taste excellent. Dinner selection very good and enjoyable, wine excellent value for money. Owners should be applauded for the effort and detail put towards ensuring safety and comfort within the challenges and restrictions brought around by Covid 19.

The room was small, but that was described well on the website. The website also said there was a private bathroom, which we assumed would be across the corridor, but it was a very nice bathroom en-suit. Food was good and because we had read the advice on the website and emails the visit was very smooth and enjoyable.

  • where can i park

    We recommend you arrive at our garden entrance to the rear of us in Victoria street,pick up your key, drop your bags off then move the car to the free parking on the common situated in York road and walk the short walk back to us.

  • Where can one park and for how much?

    All the parking in the town centre area is free, the nearest car park is free and only approx 150 yards away.
