Hardly a tourist destination.
Hardly a tourist destination. Handy for doing business in the area (in my case attending a funeral) but I did wonder what the coach party that was staying there were doing or a couple of families with young children. Sutton itself very complicated to drive around with one-way systems, lots of chicanes and 20 mph speed limits.

Sutton is great.
Sutton is great. Local shops and local buses for ease of travel. The people are friendly and there are lots of marshes/large green areas to walk, sit and play. We ate at Miller and Carter which was the best dining experience we've had in a long time. Great food, atmosphere, music and service. We also ordered a take-in from a local pizza company.
I would ensure that there is adequate parking near where I stay and adequate sleeping space for my family.

It’s in a very good position , whenever we visit South London or even London, we like to stay at The Holiday Inn, Sutton..
The cleanliness is very good and all the staff, friendly and efficient ..
We ate at the restaurant both evenings for our two day stay, service excellent and food good.
There was nothing I would avoid, on next visit, and we look forward to returning soon.

Firstly, our room was old and tired.
Firstly, our room was old and tired. There was no dust or dirt as such but it just wasn't cleaned thoroughly (grime around bathroom fittings etc). Meagre in room tea/coffee etc with not enough cups (paper) for the number of people in the room and not even a biscuit. Sagging mattresses.
Bought breakfast (had to pick an available time slot the evening before (like I know what time I will wake and be ready for food after a late night party). Also once breakfast was explained we were told we had just 30 minutes to eat!!!. Won't stay here again. The high cost of the room (£164 for the night) just wasn't worth it and then another £9.95 for a rushed breakfast. The only plus for the Holiday Inn is that it has parking which is difficult to find in Sutton.
I know Sutton quite well and the Holiday Inn is not far from local shops and bars. It is also only about a 5 min walk to the station but it is not somewhere to stay unless you have to. Sutton is also on a hill so getting around is a bit weary, especially if you have mobility issues, as we have. There are no highlights or things/places of intetest. We were there for a family party. Next time I will get the family to come to me in Worthing.
I found the aparthotel concept extremely good. Its a sort of service apartment that gives you a fully functional kitchen which includes a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, a hobb along with a queen size bed and television. equally good is the bathroom. all these features at a great price. Also the area is good and well connected as the station is right behind the hotel. Slightly far from heathrow but once you are there you will like it.
friendly and helpful staff
the food was excellent
the rooms were relaxing with an amazing comfy bed
good quality toiletries provided
tea/coffee facilities with fabulous biscuits
the greyhound is close to train station and there’s a regular bus service so great place to stay if you were going to London
we totally enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend - thank you
It was next to High Street and near the station (two minutes away from it, really - I knew that it would take me half an hour to get to London City before coming here). The facilities seemed modern. The staff at the reception was very friendly. My room had a nice view. The room was quiet unless there was somebody crossing the hallway - I could hear that inside.
Location is just a 2 mins walk away from Sutton High Street in a quiet residential area. The property is equipped enough for a short stay. The host was superb in communication and also allowed me to drop luggage at the location before agreed arrival time since we arrived a little bit earlier. Will stay again when in Sutton.
It is a good price for this type of room in London. The room was clean. The breakfast is included. You can prepare coffee or tea in your room for yourself. Transportation is good (30 mins to the city center by train). The neighborhood is lovely. Some supermarkets are nearby.
It was a late booking as I had a meeting this morning in Sutton checked in late was met by very charming lady who showed me round offered me a cup of tea as it was late very quiet location facilities in room just what I needed very clean will definitely book again
Staff went all the way to ensure we had a good stay. They were very responsive and helpful. We were also able to borrow a buggy which made our trip much easier as we had an 18month baby. Location was great as easy to navigate
to and fro London.
Very close to Sutton station, super easy check in and the staff are great. Apartment has quite a big kitchen, which is really nice. Super comfortable and clean rooms, etc. Highly recommend if you've got business in Sutton for any reason.
Extremely friendly helpful staff
Arrived earlier than check in time due to plane times and staff helped by making a room available
Very good gym
Hotel location walking distance to town center and bus/train stops
The hotel has a good location (bus and railway
stations nearby). A comfy bad, a hair dryer and towels were in the room. It was possible to borrow an iron and an iron board. I was also satisfied with breakfests.
I had builders working in my flat, and I needed a place to sleep and work for a few days: this aparthotel fit the bill.
Many thanks to the staff who helped me with extending my stay at the very last minute.
Location was very convenient for London and Surrey with good rail and bus links. The price was very reasonable. Local shopping was great. Parking was good.
Good value for money, but be aware this is not a hotel, more like a hostel. The rooms are secure and basic and the onsite staff are not overly visible.
