The mix of superking,king,twin,double and single rooms with ground floor double for those of partial disablement and some with wide views across the dunes to the shoreline. Families can take advantage of the adjacent rooms on the top floor. We know the improvements has improved the comfort and surroundings and your stay will be enhanced by the process. The carpet have been upgraded and all en-suite facilities updated to include hygienic floors. Inclusion of a Life 2 fire alarm system has improved safety. Bed and Breakfast only but we are located near enough to many quality restaurants. Sea front wide promenade with easy access to the beach and walks along the Norfolk Coastal path through the updat Venetian Waterways.

We are Bob and Barbara Briggs and this is our first venture into bed and breakfast ownership. Barbara is experienced in the hotel trade and Bob has many years of management and administration behind him. We began the purchase of Swiss Cottage in November 2003 and after a few false starts finally moved in on 12th March 2004. Choosing a lifestyle business approach we offer a homely place to stay and to use as a base to explore all what Great Yarmouth and the Broads can offer. Great Yarmouth is located on the East coast around the middle of the bump you see on maps. Access from the main routes of the A47 and A12 the area is growing in popularity with many new places appearing. A traditional seaside town, Great Yarmouth offers a chance to experience the old seaside town along with many modern new features. Restaurants, amusements, take way food and candy floss shows the flavour of the town but it is a good base to explore the Norfolk broads and the North Norfolk coast as well. Plenty of entertainment with the St Georges theatre and end of pier Britannia theatre. The Seachange arts festival runs in September across the town with many interesting acts. Throughout the year families are catered for with the Pleasure Beach offering fun for all, many centres like Sealife offer an insight into 'fishy' life. A wealth of award winning museums and places of interest like the Time and Tide museum. The port area is used for supporting the offshore wind farm industry as well as busy shipping across to Europe.
