They both occupy one section of the quadrangle which forms the ‘New Stables’, built by the 20th Earl of Shrewsbury in 1886, with the rest being occupied by Ingestre Riding School. The charming working stables environment means you will frequently see magnificent horses and ponies walking around the courtyard and grazing in the surrounding fields. Having been designed with conservation in mind, both lodges have retained many original features of the beautiful Victorian building that has been painstakingly restored over time.
