Amazing stay! The pod was very cosy with everything you may need for a short stay. Our car made it up the hill to park right outside. Hot tub was preheated by the host to our surprise. She was very responsive, answered my emails straight away during our stay. If you’re looking for a fabulous location to unwind look no further. I’d suggest hiking Dol Idris nearby, stunning views!

The pod is so beautifully maintained and located in its own private area where you feel peacefully in the middle of nowhere. Menna was an amazing host and although we didn't get a chance to meet due to myself being out doing day activities she was on hand and answered any questions we had and even had the hot tub ready for when we had arrived. We had an exceptional time here and didn't want to leave! It was the perfect weekend away!

We really enjoyed our stay from start to finish! The pod was lovely and clean. When we arrived the electric fire was on and it was very welcoming and warm. Menna came to welcome us on arrival and make sure everything was ok and explained how to use the hottub which was very easy. We had some car troubles and the hosts came straight down to help us. I would definitely return and recommend to anyone.

    We only have one pod which is my pride and joy. The pod is located out of sight and it has no immediate neighbours overlooking- complete privacy.

    Nearest beach is a 30mins scenic drive from the pod. You will have to check with Booking.com in regards to payment. I have no control over payment.

Tan- Y- Dderwen Pod (translates to Under the Oak) is nestled under large Oak trees in a secluded part of Mid Wales. Scenic walks through trees and over stream on your doorstep, or just relax and soak in the log fired hot tub. The pod is self-contained with all the day to day essentials. Hot running water, fully functionality toilet, gas hobs with all cooking utensils, comfy double bed and sofa, and heating inside the pod...plus an awesome hot tub to enjoy! We want you to enjoy and relax with us, not stress about midnight visits to an outdoor toilet o'r keeping the fire going to cook your tea! The pod can accommodate up to 4 people with sleeping arrangements of one double bed and a sofa bed. There is no WIFI and mobile signal is weak at the pod. There are electric sockets therefore no problem charging phones or doing work on a laptop. IPad holder at the end of the bed therefore feel free to download films etc before coming.
We also live on the farm, further up the track from the pod. You might see us walking the fields checking stock going about our usual day to day jobs. You can get hold of us anytime on the phone and we are never far from the farm.
Located perfectly for an array of activities, Sandy beaches of Aberdyfi, Dyfi Osprey Project, just South of the Snowdonia National Park, Glyndŵr's Way National Trail and 7 miles from the market town of Machynlleth- a perfect spot for a quiet getaway
