Superb location as is about 400m away from Armadale station - so good access to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Bed was comfortable and the shower good too. Was allowed to check in early - which was superb. Highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely perfect place to stay with kids and dogs. Our twin babies loved the mobile home and it was a great layout for them to crawl around safely. Nice not to be attached to anyone so we weren't worrying about them waking people up if they cried for milk in the night. The lady who showed us round was lovely and really keen to help. The mobile home was much bigger than I expected and it was warm and cosy. The sofa was also big and comfy for sleeping next to the travel cots whilst they settled for the night, although with one baby you could fit the travel cot in the bedroom. Will definitely stay here again next time we're seeing family in Edinburgh/Glasgow.

Very nice and comfortable hotel with a couple of rooms. The most important advantage of the hotel is its owners. Very nice, friendly and helpful people. The hotel is always clean. The hotel is in a very convenient location. Near the railway station and a large ASDA supermarket. Also close to the M8 Edinburgh - Glasgow. I recommend to everyone!!!

Our farm house was built in 1810 and was home to William Angus who won the Victoria cross in the 1st world war.
At Tarrareoch Guest House we offer a room only accommodation. We took over the guest house from my parents who previosly ran it for 25 years.
Armadale is a small ex mining town which was known for its brick manufacturing. Its names after Armadale in Sunderland who was owned by Sir William Honeyman we are a 2 min walk from Armadale train station, 5 min walk to Asda and a 10 min walk to a local eatery and pub.
