Wonderful location and Hotel. Nothing is any bother, everyone is very friendly and welcoming .We visited with our dog and he is as special a guest as we were.Given a room with easy access to the grounds as requested Happy memories and would not hesitate in going back.

United KingdomMagnificent hotel, site, room and overall location directly facing Lock Awe. The location is very out of the way but that is perfect...quiet retreat. The siting overlooking Lock Awe is perfect with a large outdoor yard and beach facing the Lock. The Inn's NUMEROUS charming common rooms (Living rooms, snookers room, enclosed wind protected courtyards, dining rooms, etc.) offer numerous relaxing hang out options out side the private rooms. Plus they are beautifully finished accentuating the character of the original building. Our bedroom also looked out onto the Lock. It was very comfortable with a great bathroom. Breakfast in the dining room overlooking the Lock was excellent. Parking was also available.

The hotel is secluded in a beautiful setting and the grounds are pristinely maintained. The room was very comfortable and extremely clean and quiet. The food at both dinner and breakfast was delicious. The bar cozy and inviting. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here and will definitely come back for a lovely weekend get away. Wish we had stayed more than one night.

In a tranquil setting on the banks Loch Awe, Taychreggan Hotel offers elegant accommodations and high-quality dining. With free parking and WiFi, this hotel is around 20 miles from Oban, where ferries depart to the Isle of Mull.

Originally a cattle drover’s inn, this Highland hotel lies just over 30 miles from the pretty town of Inveraray and the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. The port of Oban is approximately 30 minutes drive and ideal to enjoy for a day out.
