United KingdomAlthough 2 hours extra in the journey due to M1 being closed, communicated via text, host was waiting with the keys. At the rear of property so very quiet. Very short walk (down hill) to town centre. Powerful shower and plenty of tea and coffee making bits. Good sleep in cumfy bed.

We found it to be very quiet and we were very happy when the owner was able to accommodate our request to upgrade to the top-floor flat. The property is only a couple of minutes from the superb Whitby Museum and Art Gallery which is set in a really lovely park.
