Comfortable lounge area downstairs. Lots of real wooden flooring. Great grounds including a nature reserve and hide. Easy parking.

I was so impressed how modern the hotel was this time and the room was lovely, the restaurant was first class and the food and service was excellent. I will certainly stay in this hotel at every opportunity in the future.

United States of AmericaStunning old buildings that have been well renovated / decorated and with beautiful surrounding countryside walks. Staff were all courteous, pleasant and attentive. Rooms were lovely, clean & peaceful - a restful and relaxing stay overall. The one dinner we had in the restaurant was absolutely delicious, would highly recommend.

United KingdomThe Cowshed restaurant far exceeded our expectations. The service was impeccable and it was quite possibly the best steak we have ever had (and we always order steak). It was my partners birthday, which they acknowledged on arrival at both the hotel, and the restaurant. We also had breakfast in the Cowshed which was also lovely! I really cannot speak highly enough of the Cowshed restaurant. The room was very clean. I loved that the radio was bluetooth so we could play our own music. We stayed in the Lakeside Lodge which is nice and private and overlooks the water, it was beautiful, and very relaxing. Perfect for a romantic weekend away. The staff were all very helpful and attentive.
