“Beautiful period cottage which has been renovated to a high standard. Very clean, comfortable & cosy. Might be a problem with ceiling heights if your are tall, I could only just stand up in the bedroom and I’m only 5’8”. There is a lovely pub just 2 minutes walk up the road called the Turfcutters inn & the food was very good. Hot tub in the garden was a real bonus & we enjoyed some lovely walks, lots of ponies around too.”

“We had such an amazing stay thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage. Exceeded our expectations in decor and cleanliness and beautiful surroundings, plenty of horses and donkeys and cow sightings on the lane outside, hot tub was a welcome treat after a few long walks. Wifi was excellent, warm and cosy and very comfortable beds and everything including towels great quality and plentiful. Post office and shop round the corner and local pub and perfect base for exploring the new forest. Host was very informative and you can tell by the decor and little signs in the cottage they really want you to relax and enjoy this little gem x thank you. “The farm shop (directions in welcome pack) has lots of lovely goodies. The little post office/general store is very welcoming. The little pub along the road, The Turfcutters Arms, has live music on occasion. Also serves home made food. Tables can be booked and is recommended. ”
