“We expected the space in the studio to be quite limited but were really pleasantly surprised. We were very comfortable and the kitchen facilities were excellent. As ours was a winter stay, we didn't really get to enjoy the garden, but the setting is superb and it must be absolutely wonderful in the warmer months when you can enjoy being outside. Lovely peaceful location and great for getting out and about.”

“The location was brilliant - a farm location but only 5 minute drive to the little village. The accommodation itself was charming, peaceful and cosy warm (it was winter when we were there). The hosts were delightful. very helpful and welcoming.”

“The bed was really comfortable and the heating kept the cottage really cosy yet was easily controlled. The shower is a good size and the water was always hot. The garden is beautiful with seating and tables set in the sun. There is enough in the way of cooking equipment/utensils if you want to cook but there is a good guide to local pubs and restaurants in a folder. Our hostess and husband were marvellous. The property is well situated for Sutton Hoo as well as visits to the coast or walks along the Deben.”

“This was our second time of staying in Thatched Farm and once again we really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable cottage and the kitchen was quite well equipped. Good location as well. Communal gardens are lovely with lots of little seating areas dotted about. Stayed three nights but could have easily stayed longer.”

“We were self catering. Kitchen was adequate to prepare meals. Reasonably sized fridge cum freezer. Cooker more than adequate, and plenty of hot water at all times. Living space was comfortable with enough seating. Bathroom with shower was okay, enough room to dry oneself off. Bedrooms were comfortable enough space to dress oneself in and there was enough storage. The extensive gardens were delightful to sit in the evenings and relax. Clean and comfortable.”
