“Lovely spacious clean rooms and ideal motel type layout. Staff so helpful in letting us have the rooms open to return to, after a wedding earlier in the day meant we couldn’t check in as normal. Very friendly and welcoming and lots of parking. ”

“Location was great as we were attending a wedding at Quantock Lakes. The rooms are located at the back of the pub with car parking right outside. The rooms were very clean and having a kettle and bottled water was perfect. I had phoned the day before arrival to see if we could check in and get changed and the lady I spoke with was very helpful and friendly. Felt they would do anything to help. The breakfast was great and really tasty and the staff really friendly and efficient. There was a continued flow of hot and cold drinks. Would recommend to anyone.”

“Perfect gateway to the Quantock hills. The rooms are separate to the pub with loads of space and plenty of parking. The pub is a gem. Log fires, good ales and decent menu. The staff looked after us all weekend. We head to these hills every year and this place is brilliant.”

“Family of 4 adults taking a short break. Very pleased with large comfortable rooms, and cosy bar areas. New Manager, Kerry, went out of her way to ensure we had a good stay - very cheerful and friendly, despite having to cope on her own with a temporary lack of chef for evening meals. Excellent breakfasts and all staff were mot welcoming. Would definitely return if in the area again, and look forward to seeing how all Kerry's plans for the pub have progressed.
