“We loved this place, excellent food and a very warm ambiance all around. Understandably, things were very busy at this time of year, so the staff was often overwhelmed and the service a bit spotty and slow. Our room, while lovely, was just next to what seemed to be an ice machine, which was noisy at night..as were the lingering groups of diners on the patio. Overall, a wonderful place and we would definitely return. We stayed in room one, and next time we might request a room on the opposite side of the building for more quiet.”

“Lovely Cotswold building with log burners, creaky stairs and low beams. Very nice, calm atmosphere and a great place to visit in the colder months. Great food, very clean and attractive rooms, plenty of heat and hot water. The team were very welcoming and my wife loved spending her 40th birthday here. Would highly recommend. ”
