“My husband and I stayed overnight (3/11 - 4/11) at the Angel Inn, visiting the Petworth Festival. Warm, characterful and welcoming, we loved the place. We had fresh milk delivered to our room on our arrival, and a jug of fresh milk placed outside our room on the morning of 4/11. Our supper - 2 ‘small’ fish and chips - was good and the breakfast - my husband had the ‘Angel Breakfast’ - was superb. We shall return. The small hotel car park was full when we arrived, but we parked on the road outside the hotel, which was unrestricted.”

Immaculately clean with lovely touches such as fresh milk brought up to the room in the morning and freshly made cookies left us. we had dinner there which was also excellent. The staff were great and very friendly. They were so helpful when we had a problem with our car in the car park. ”

“Everything you want and imagine from a weekend stay in a country inn/pub. Well positioned, Friendly welcoming staff, that smell of a big open fire, beautifully presented and appropriately decorated rooms. Snug bed sheets, decent mattresses, good water pressure, small details and good country pub fare. The 2 cooked breakfasts with coffee and 2 dinners we had were great. Try the venison and roast dinners. A really great stay!”
