We loved our stay at Barcaldine! It is such a gem in a beautiful spot! The castle itself is incredible. We enjyed going for lovely walks and then coming back to sit and chill with wine and a book infront of the huge fires! We stayed as a treat as part of our honeymoon staycation and honestly can't wait to go back! Abbie and Daniel were the most joyful and loveliest people.

Beautiful decor and location, the room was amazing and the parlour and dining area were excellent too.

Amazing and simply beautiful. The castle is stunning and beautifully decorated. The hosts were lovely and made our stay truly memorable. Definitely going back soon and next time staying longer!

Perfect little hidden gem for a lovely romantic night away. The hosts were fantastic and created a truely memorable and remarkable stay. We would 100% recommend this property to others.

An amazing castle, loved all of it! Breakfast was great too!

What an amazing place to stay. We had one night as a real treat in the Bredalbane room and it was absolutely incredible. the drive up to the castle was beautiful and then on arrival a socially distanced welcome and then to the room. The 4-poster bed was maybe the comfiest bed ive ever slept on, my partner took full advantage of the roll top bath and the shower was also lovely (weve since bought the shower gel that they have here too). The secret passages were a lovely way to explore the castle. In the gallery, the fire was roaring and there is information all around so you can find out the history of the place. There was also a wee dram to enjoy before bed. The breakfast is sourced locally and was absolutely delicious, i had fruit salad followed by smoked mackerel and poached eggs, plenty of fresh fruit juice and tea as well. For us, this is a once in a lifetime experience, a real treat of pure luxury and comfort in a grand castle. I cant recommend this enough. What a joy.

I had booked this for my granddaughter and her partner for there 21st And they both said they had an amazing time

An archetypal Scottish tower house out in the countryside with stone spiral staircase and tasteful comfortable rooms. Only a few rooms so service is friendly and personal. Best breakfast fruit salad I’ve had in Scotland, and piping hot cooked breakfast. lovely. Photo shows top floor bathroom view to the loch.

Castle looks stunning and with its 2 hidden tunnels is great. The main hall where you can sit down and have a drink or chat with people whilst maintaining social distancing is lovely and a nice little extra is waiting for you next to the fire place. The room was clean with excellent wifi and the condiment tray was full of very nice treats. Met the hosts at breakfast (which was amazing and very filling) and they were awesome and very keen to tell you more of the ghost stories and experiences and history of the place. Thouroughly reccomend this place, price may be high but its really worth it for the experience.

The Castle and surroundings are timeless. The bed was stately and so comfortable! Wonderful breakfast and excellent hosts. Our stay was magical.
